Can a person OD on color? I wondered that this weekend as I was rinsing out several dyed quilt backings. The thrill of seeing the emerging pattern and just what the dye did while I wasn’t looking is addictive and never goes away. I’m a color addict. I admit it freely and I really hope there’s not any kind of rehab. What’s even more thrilling is the energy of each piece. When a customer chooses a dye to go on their quilt, that energy goes from me to them and the circle continues.
